Equipment:
- Hairband
- Accessories
- Hair grips
- Pintail comb
- Hair brush
- Section the front of hair from back using pintail comb. The section point should be at the ears.
- Brush the back section into a ponytail and tie it with a hairband.
- To create the bun, roll the hair pushing it upwards and rolling it into the hairband point.
- Make sure the shape is rounded and doesn't look like a big barrel curl/ roll.
- Once you have created the shape, pin it with grips in and around the hairband area.
- Next, take one front side section and twist it back and over the bun to the other side of the head and pin it securely with grips. Do this again with the other front side section going over to the other side of the head and pin.
- To add accessories, apply them to the style in a way that would suit it. e.g. put the accessories sitting over/on the twists at the back, or around the front of the style like a head band. Secure the accessories with pins.
It took me a couple times to get the bun shape right but I managed to create it in the end and am happy with the results. I enjoyed experimenting with the accessories and making them work with the style
