Classic Shapes and Silouhettes

Equiment:
  • Hairband
  • Hair brush
  • Hair grips
  • Pintail Comb
  • Hair Dryer
  • Mousse
  • Hairspray
Method:
  • To make the hair sleek, blow dry the hair from bottom to hair.
  • To do this, section of the bottom of the hair and blow dry the hair from top to bottom of the section while brushing the hair under at the same time.
  • Continue to do this method working your way up to the top of the hair.
  • Tie the hair up by brushing it through and try to keep the hair as smooth as you can. Combing mousse into the hair will help this effect.
  • Make sure the hair is up tie and once you are happy with the smoothness and height, tie the hair with a hairband. A bungee tie will also help secure the ponytail
  • If there are any fly aways or baby hairs, carefully comb mousse through it nd into the rest of the hair or hairspray them and comb them into the hair.
Outcome:
I found this method really easy to do and am happy with the results.

Equipment:

  • Pintail comb
  • Hair grips

Method:

  • Square off top section.
  • Wrap one side under top section and around to the other side and pin it. Do same with the other side section.
  • Take top section and backcomb in section.
  • Brush over and pin at the back to create high hair.
Progression:
I think my first attempt at this look turned out really well and I am happy with the results. I found it easy and straight forward to do.
